The farm belonged to Galileo Family and was sold by Galileo Galilei himself in 1778. Over time, the company's business has specialized primarily on the production of wine and oil. In the early 90s, few apartments were finely restored to start the farm houses business.This beautiful vineyard estate is surrounded by 63 hectares of land: 10 ha Chianti Classico vineyards, 8 ha olive groves, 35 ha seeded land, 12 ha woodland. The Property has a total surface of 2,200 sqm, divided in 7 buildings. The residential buildings include a detached house, eight apartments and a charming private chapel with frescoes and original furnitures. The technical area concerns cellars, warehouses, offices, storage rooms, tasting room and production area. In a private and panoramic position the swimming pool overlooks the valley. The estate also includes a fenced tennis court, a private lake and a well .Current production of 308 Hl Chianti Classico and potential production of 450 Hl (about 60,000 bottles potential). The current production of Vin Santo Chianti Classico is 30 tons of dried grapes. Percentage of grape presence: Sangiovese 65%, Canaiolo Nero 20%, Malvasia, Cabernet Sauvignon and Colorino.
