Farm Business of ca.122 hectares of which 11.5 ha. are vineyard (Sangiovese âEuro“ Cabernet Sauvignon). The rest is arable land, olive grove and wood (there is the possibility of planting an additional 4/5 hectares of vineyard). The property includes a house which has been recently renovated and a vinification cellar built in 2005 where the wine is processed. The area is one of the most enchanting of the Maremma region as it faces the Argentario Peninsula and the Island of Giglio. The property also includes a second wine cellar dating back to the 14th century located under the Church of Scansano. This too has been completely renovated and is used as an aging cellar for part of the wine produced by the estate. The estate's future estimation of production is 200,000 bottles of wine with 3 different labels (at the moment there are 2 labels). In 2006 80.000 bottles of wine were produced for sale in Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Great Britain via direct agents coordinated by the sales manager of the estate. The estate at present counts the following staff members: N° 2 farm workers N° 1 professional oenologist N° 1 sales manager for Italy N° 1 general manager. At the moment the estate sells in Italy via agents and handles foreign sales directly.
